Michigan vs. Ohio State Preview

The Ohio State against Michigan football game is arguably the greatest rivalry in sports history. With Terrell Pryor and Beanie Wells averaging a total of 170 yards rushing every game, it is possible that they could have a breakout day against the struggling Wolverine defense. I predict that both will have a stellar day and the two will have a combined 300 plus yards on Saturday .

Despite the offensive play calling that seemed to focus mostly on the ground game the last two games, let’s not forget that Mr. Pryor has been improving on a weekly basis. With dual threats in Hartline and Robiskie who have a combined 10 touchdowns, stuffing the box to stop the run could become a nightmare for the Wolverine defense if Pryor gets hot.

Michigan’s Steven Threet is averaging 148 yards passing a game , so lets not give up on the Wolverines just yet. The OSU defense has been vulnerable at times. Mcguffie and Minor are contributing 100 plus yards per game on the ground. However, keep in mind..since this is a rivalry game, all the stats can be thrown out the window. This game comes down to pure heart and desire. Whichever team wants it most will come out on top, and Jim Tressel seems to have the Wolverines’ number.

So fasten your seatbelts and hang on…the excitement kicks off at noon this Saturday on ABC!
